Are you a distributor seeking simple, flexible and affordable supply management solutions for your customers? It’s no secret that end-users across all industries are looking for better inventory control options to stay ahead of today’s supply chain shortages and get the most out of their supply budget.
We can help.
Industrial vending use has dramatically increased over the last decade and continues to expand. In fact, according to recent reports by Grand View Research, the vending market is expected to reach $57 billion by 2025 and has quickly become table stakes for many buyers. It’s easy to see why. Vending offers easy access to mission-critical inventory items night and day, while reducing stockouts, improving safety compliance, increasing usage accountability and providing better visibility into inventory consumption.
Vending also helps improve labor costs and production flows. When industrial vending machines are placed at the point-of-use, workers spend less time walking to and from the storeroom looking for items needed to perform their tasks.

Advancements in Industrial Vending: 1sourcevend Launches New Touchscreen
Distributors and their customers are experiencing operational and business challenges never seen before. It’s why we work with distributors every day to provide inventory management options like vending to industrial end-users, helping them strengthen customer relationships, increase customer stickiness and grow wallet share. Our user-friendly software and variety of delivery options can profitably provide inventory control for low- and high-cost disposable and reusable items.
We knew we couldn’t stop there. We needed to elevate the user experience to the next level.
We recently added an upgraded high-resolution touchscreen display monitor for our industrial vending machines to make them easier to use than ever. Touchscreen access of this quality is typically only used in retail vending to process payments. But we thought, why not apply it to the industrial market? We studied this advanced technology and found it was a perfect fit for 1sourcelive, our inventory management platform, and went on to customize the touchscreen to create the best user experience for distributors and their customers.
How can a touchscreen improve user experience with vending?
Our high-resolution Android touchscreen comes pre-loaded with 1sourcevend’s proprietary inventory control software, 1sourcelive, which tracks inventory usage in real-time, triggering automated replenishment when inventory reaches a set minimum level. This means less stockouts and better production uptime. The touchscreens are available on helix coil, locker and combination machines as well as drawer cabinets.
The enhanced touchscreen functionality also includes new features for 1sourcevend locker machines such as:
- Inventory for returnable items switches between 1 and 0 when items are checked out and returned
- New report option shows which items are currently checked out
- Lock Out items based on Date, Number of Uses, or Employee’s choice to mark the product damaged
- New notifications for when items are locked out
- Employee admins can check out locked items, service them, and return them to the machine
- Reports indicate which items need service and show service history
Vending gives businesses more control over their inventory usage and spend. User-friendly touchscreens combined with simple, yet powerful software enhances that experience.
